Privacy Policy
The short version
Fresh Drop is a daily digest that links to other websites. We collect as little as possible, we do not sell personal data, and we do not ask you to make an account to read the site.
What we collect
- Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) logs requests, including IP address and browser type, for security and performance. Vercel's own privacy policy governs those logs.
- Cookies and analytics. We use cookies only for functional purposes (such as remembering your reading streak on your own device, stored locally in your browser and never sent to us). If we add third-party analytics or advertising, this policy will be updated and a consent choice will be offered where required.
- Email, if you subscribe. If you give us your email for the daily digest, we use it only to send you the digest and service messages. Every email contains an unsubscribe link and our postal address, as required by law.
Affiliate links
Fresh Drop participates in affiliate programs (including Amazon Associates and fashion/beauty affiliate networks). When you click a shopping link and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are disclosed on the page where they appear. Affiliate programs do not receive your personal data from us.
Third-party websites
We link to news articles, shops, and social posts we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Once you click through, their policies apply.
Children
Fresh Drop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold (most likely just an email address). Contact us and we will handle it within 30 days.
